The Coop
The coop was a project that the entire ranch was involved in making happen. We moved an old unused shed to a perfectly shaded spot, designed the inside to accommodate an easy to clean coop and storage, and built the run to be predator proof and equally easy to clean. Check out the full build here.
Hens
We love to get peeps in the spring - we generally keep around 20-25 egg layers to balance our egg production. We have a variety of breeds including Red Rocks, Wyandottes, Lavender and Buff Orpingtons, Olive Egger, Golden Sexlinks, Sussex, Silver Penciled and Barred Plymouth Rock, Leghorns, Easter Eggers and more!
